  5. UPS Manifest System is for companies who ship between 50 and 100,000 packages a
  6. day with the United Parcel Service, US Post Office, Airborne, or any
  7. user-defined carrier. This product is approved by UPS to prepare a manifest
  8. that is accepted by UPS in place of the shipping book. Processing of each
  9. package is reduced to seconds with this system. The system includes all the
  10. necessary software and an interfaced scale to automatically retrieve the
  11. package weight, and an optional bar code reader for invoice and address data.
  12. Management reports include insurance, COD, ship method, and summary reports.
  13. The data collected can be communicated to any other system in realtime.
  14. Facilities also exist for the user to define local carriers and their price
  15. tables.
